Our U15 and U17 II teams travelled to Zagreb, where they played their league matches in Round 6 of the Croatian First Youth League.
Once again, due to numerous national-team call-ups, only two of the White-and-Blues’ youth teams played league matches in the Croatian First Youth League last weekend. Our U15 and U17 II teams faced Lokomotiva in Zagreb and recorded one win and one defeat.
The U15 team lost 4–0 in their Round 6 match. The starting lineup and substitutions were: Mokrović (83’ Lauc), Arlović, Međugorac, Boduljak, Major, Vukić (83’ Perić), Đaković, Masnić (46’ Basov), Vladika, Lazić (46’ Momčilović) and Tot (74’ Žigić).
After six matches this season, NK Osijek’s U15 team has recorded four wins and two defeats.
The U17 II team secured another convincing victory, this time winning 6–0. The goalscorers were Marko Tomić in the 30th minute, Niko Kovačić in the 40th and 47th minutes, Rafael Peršić in the 41st and 56th minutes, and Stipe Bubalo in the 65th minute.
The team featured: Čekeliš (80’ Mazalović), Šarčević, M. Kovačević (80’ L. Kovačević), Dančević (61’ Majić), Bračun (61’ Tadić), Moržan, Bubalo (68’ Šimić), Peršić, Tomić (80’ Vrkić), Kovačić and Uhlik (68’ Mrkonjić).
The U17 II team has won all of their matches so far this season and, after six games, have an impressive goal difference of 34–4.
We would once again like to emphasize that results are there to be recorded, while development and progress are built systematically — and that remains our top priority.
