Young and ambitious football expert returns from Puskas Academy where he worked with younger generations.
Osijek II’s team starts working under the wing of their new coach, Dino Skender. The School is a key strategic factor in the improvement of our first-league team and the general football talent in our city, which is an important part of our club’s vision. In that matter, after the last preparation phase, new activities begin this year, including the reorganization of the School that will enable more efficient allocation of talent and the improvement of those who enrolled. The restructuring encompasses all segments, from organizational (on the level of work plans and set goals) to individual ones, everything being made so as to follow world trends, connecting the youth, new work methods and infusing the knowledge and experience we got into every segment. In that context, added focus is being put on Osijek II’s team that has trained for the first time in this new year under Skender’s wing.
School a key carrier of advancement
This young and ambitious coach comes from the Hungarian Puskas Academy where he worked with the younger age groups and he already has experience in our School. His words best depict his plans for Osijek II and being the coordinator of the School: “The time has come to reorganize and the long-term project of the NK Osijek Football School needs to be advanced to a higher level to realize it’s quality and potential. We will try to execute the program of the School according to the highest professional and modern football standards. I am happy to have received the chance to be part of this project and I want to transfer my knowledge of football to the younger generations and the second team” said Skender.
One of his helpers will be Karlo Primorac, sports conditioning coach Dino Krolo and Filip Susnjara, who is responsible for working with goalies. Tomislav Steinbruckner and Ivo Vranjes, who worked with Osijek II up until now will have new duties at the School. This topic will be elaborated on at the coming press conference at Gradski Vrt.
