Marko Pipunic to thank for arrival of beautiful UEFA Champ's League trophy in Slavonian metropolis
Osijek citizens have the opportunity to admire the most prestigious trophy in the world of sport in their own city – the UEFA Champion’s League trophy. After yesterday’s promotion on John Paul II’s square, it will be in display this Wednesday in Hotel Osijek.
Being part of the tour that started in the Romanian Ia?i and ends in the capital of Hungary, Budapest, it is satisfying to say that among 16 chosen cities, Osijek is one of them. Marko Pipunic is to thank for that, due to his business connections to the Bank of Zagreb, which is part of the UniCredit group that is the organizer of this project as one of the main sponsors of the Champion's League.

- I would like that all children that admire this trophy imagine how they will one day have the chance to rise and be the best in Europe. To our city, I wish that that becomes reality in the next couple of years - said Pipunic, accompanied by the president of the Administration of the Bank of Zagreb, Miljenko Zivaljic.
Zito in its business building organized a reception celebrating the UEFA Champion’s League Trophy Tour, the trophy itself being accessible to all who want to want to be in a photo. For that occasion, NK Osijek was represented by the captain, Borna Barisis, along with Antonio Perosevic.
