A Project Supporting Sick and Preterm Birth Children
On the grass of Maksimir, A-teamers of Osijek and Dinamo will display appropriate jerseys in support of the humanitarian action “Palcic Gore’ (tiny thumb up).
The club and the parents founded the project as a result of the parents’ and health practitioner’s initiative to help, educate and aid experiences of parents with preterm born children and long-term advancement of taking care for them.
“Our Strength is their Courage”
The awareness of the public regarding the problems and consequences with which preterm babies and their parents have to fight is very low. These children are especially vulnerable in the period immediately after birth and in early development, because of which their parents and the workers face many challenges in caring for them. Every parent expects an hopes that a child will be born healthy and when troubles arise, parents tend to be unprepared, which is only natural and shouldn’t be judged. The guiding light in this project is to include as many people as possible to wear these t-shirts in order to raise awareness. “Our Strength is their Courage” marks that idea.
