19-year old tragically dies
On Sunday, we found out the sad news that our dear player from the School, Josip Lastavica (19), died in a car crash that happened on D-55 Vinkovci-Zupanja state road near Gradiste.
He started his football path in Granicar where he was registered for the first time, in 2006, and spent 6 years in the younger categories of that club.
He arrived in NK Osijek in 2012 and stayed up until last summer when he went to BSK Bijelo Brdo, and then returning to his original team to fight for the inter-county league champion title.
NK Osijek’s deepest sympathies go out to the family Lastavica, Josip’s friends and NK Granicar.
