It wasn’t solely results, placing in Europe, records and tradition ends what marked last season. Some statistics show that spectator numbers went way up, too.
Simply put, NK Osijek is being backed up by the largest number of spectators, the average at home being 3,000, which is more than double the amount in comparison to 2015/2016. Counting all competitive showings during the last year, Osijek was watched by more than 100,000 fans, which drastically increased in comparison to past seasons.
Subscriber count goes up and fan club number at 13,900
For the first time, NK Osijek approached the expansion of their fanbase and members in a more aggressive way, not only in Osijek, but also in the county. 13,900 subscribers are members of the fan club, in comparison to the past.
The number of annual pass owners is 3000, which is delightful. We all know how meager the sale of tickets used to be in the past 10 years. We also had organized arrivals of numerous football schools, which will be a trend in the future, surely.
