Only One Championship Game ended with a Draw, with Every Other One Being Won!
Osijek’s younger divisions were celebrating in the battle for championship points, just like last week. In the Premier Quality League of Slavonia and Baranja, Osijek’s U17 II bested Zeljeznicar from Slavonski Brod 5:1 (Čvrk 2, Cimerman, Fingernagl & Vuica) and the away team from Sava was bested by Osijek’s U15 II 6:2 (Dorić & Mendelski 2, Lozić & Krivić). The U13 played Jedinstvo at Osijek’s home turf, having won 9:0 (Damjanović 3, Ivančan 2, Barić, Čolić, Vrbanac & Trbojević). The same team was played by Osijek’s U11, Osijek having won 4:1 (Barić 2, Grgić & Majdenić). The U10 played a draw against Miholjac’s team (1:1 – Izakovic). The U9 won 6:0 against their peers from Donji Miholjac (Kovač 3, Biskupović, Galić & Marković), also having beaten Hypo Academy Krpan&Babic 6:2 (Kovač 3, Biskupović, Galić & Marković).
Successful Start of the Pilot League
In the 2nd YQL, The U13 II bested the away team at FEŠK 6:1 (Živković 2, Konig, Lukadinović, Mažar & Sopić). At Fericanci, the U11 II team destroyed the opposition 10:0 (Rupčić 4, Barić 3, Begović, Grgić & Majdenić). During the previous week, the Pilot League of the U13 started. The Premier tournament was played in Vinkovci, where our boys bested Slavija from Pleternica 9:0 (Čolić, Trbojević 2, Barišić, Džeko, Ivančan, Barić & Vrbanac) and home team Cibalia 2:0 (Baric and Ivancan). The U10 played at a tournament in Donji Miholjac, where they beat Hypo 8:1 (Matić 4, Božić 2, Ivanković & Mrkonjić) and Valpovka 6:0 (Gagulić & Ižaković 2, Matić & Mrkonjić). They lost against Brcko 0:1 and Vinkovci 1:2 (Izakovic).
