Our First League Team Plays Haladas VSE during the Opening of the new Sportkomplexum worth 49 mil. Euros.

Osijek’s players travelled to the Hungarian city of Szombathely where they will play a friendly match against Haladas VSE on Wednesday night during the opening of the new stadium. The Sportkomplexum is the name of the stadium and it cost 49 million euros granted by the Hungarian government.

20 players embarked on the journey, namely Marko Malenica, Marijan Antolović, Luka Kukić, Borna Barišić, Mateo Barać, Benedik Mioč, Nikola Jambor, Gabrijel Boban, Muzafer Ejupi, Andrej Šimunec, Zoran Lesjak, Robert Mudražija, Domagoj Pušić, Mile Škorić, Alen Grgić, Mirko Marić, Hrvoje Ilić, Nikola Matas, Andrej Lukić and last but not least, Haris Hajradinović. There, they will be joined by Dmytro Lopa. The club headquarters and logistics division consist of General Affairs director Hrvoje Barisic, coaches Zoran Zekić, Ronald Grnja, Ivo Smoje, Mario Kuić, Domagoj Malovan and Marin Vučko, physician Nevne Raguz, m.d., physiotherapists Milan Marković and Frano Dušić, as well as economists Željko Vincek and Zoran Stranjak.

Sports director Alen Petrovic and his aid and main scout Marin Skender are coming to Szombathely as well. Club President Ivan Meštrović and Chair of the Supervisory board Lorinc Meszaros, as well as Igor Galić, shareowner. NK Osijek is the first club in Haladas’ history to be their opponent at the beautiful and new stadium sporting 8900 spectator seats.
