Laudable Initiative by Osijek’s Football Vets.
It feels good to help someone, especially to the needy and socially endangered. We had such a situation on Tuesday in Bikara, where Osijek actively participated in accruing monetary assets to help the Kobijak family from Knezevo. On that occasion, a humanitarian game was played against lower-class Metalac and Osijek in which Osijek won 8:0 (Ejupi, Marić & Lopa 2 each, Hajradinović & Boban 1 each).
Kobijak Family Extends Gratitude to Everyone
Osijek aided the family financially, so did NK Metalac, more specifically the football veterans of Osijek and its surrounding communities that gladly answered the call to aid in this laudable initiative, culminating in the match at Sports Centre Ante Gotovina.
