Lokomotiva had a 1-0 and 2-1 lead, but Osijek turned it and came in hot during the second half.

The last time Lokomotiva had hosted Osijek was on the 12th of August 2017, when Osijek won 3-2 in the 5th round of the HNL. The place of the conflict was in Kranjcevic street, with Bruno Maric as the referee and Osijek being able to turn the tide after the opponents' impressive lead. The Lokos got a lead via Musa’s goal in the 15th minute, and by minute 25, 1-1 was the name of the game after Pusic’s score.

Up until half-time, Lokomotiva took the lead again in the 45th minute. The remainder of the match was in Osijek’s favor. In minute 79, a new tie was reached with Perosevic shooting a penalty kick right into the net after a foul had been done on Boban, only for him to score a header in the 86th minute as revenge!
