Reactions in Urania Cinema stood Testament to something Special.
The Unveiling of the new NK Osijek stadium caused shockwaves in the media and football circles of Croatia. It isn’t rurprising due to the fact that it’s a first-of-its-kind undertaking in Croatian football due to the fact that both a stadium and a training facility are being constructed at the same exact time.
Judging by the reactions of those who attended the unveiling at Urania, we drew the conclusion that people were evidently surprised and impressed by what will soon be a new football complex at Pampas.
The Mayor, mouth agape
Meštrović’s presentation wasn’t missed by mayor Ivan Vrkić, who didn’t hide his enthusiasm for what he had seen and heard, emphasizing that its an important thing for the city of Osijek and the county.
“Everything looks perfect and I’m sure that the others share my sentiment. The M&M duo, as we call them, delivered on every front and I’m a happier man for it, having had the privilege of providing them with a fraction of the means to project such a massive undertaking. The future is now in Osijek” Vrkić said last Thursday.

The area is perfect in which the unveiling took place with 200 people attending. No one’s heart stayed unmoved by the presentation. The Ugly Duckling story of Osijek is a trending topic in football circles for quite some time now and everything will magnify in scope as the project nears its beginning phases.
