Swiss-Made FieldWiz System Reveals Player Stats: Distance Covered, Sprinting, Resting, Acceleration, Tempo
Our players utilized specialized gear for precise monitoring during their training in Austria. The Swiss company FieldWiz provided our players with specialized vests, but more on that in the coming paragraph.
These vests are equipped with tech that helps coaches gauge the exact numbers for the following criteria: distance travelled, speed, sprint speed, rest time, acceleration and max speed with the ball in possession and without it in every single phase of training.
Coaches Gain Valuable Insights
The HQ now has an eagle’s eye on every player and what they do during training.
The system’s main purpose is to unveil the minute and mostly opaque aspects of each player’s performance and stats. It will therefore be easier to work on weaknesses so that everyone is in top shape come real matches.
“It’s always easier and more efficient when we have hard data so that we may have an insight into every player’s performance. Now we have a good perspective of what every player ought to improve on. Our young employee, Toni Jelic, actively monitors and notes down the statistics on a computer and provides this valuable data to the coaches” conditioning coach Marin Vucko explained.
