The Finnish Player is one of the Biggest Stars in Scandinavian Football. He’s 19, favors the winger position and comes from French Caen.

A few hours before the transition period, NK Osijek signed yet another new player. He is the first Scandinavian to play in Osijek’s jersey: the 19-year-old Finnish Timo Stavitski (born 1999), who is 6’ tall and weighs 180lbs. He is right-footed and favors the winger position and comes on a 1-year loan from French Caen. Stavitski was the youngest squad member in Caen, but nevertheless managed to play in the Ligue 1, having played against PSG.

Faced Neymar, Buffon

On August the 12th, Timo had the opportunity to play against Neymar in the last 13 minutes of a match, including Di Maria, Buffon, Silva and others. The young Finnish man is one of the biggest rising starts of Scandinavian football, having even been on trial in Barcelona. He arrived in Caen this year from Finnish RoPS in a 600,000 Euro Transfer and played 9 games for that team. He played 29 times for RoPS, having scored 2 goals in the national championship as a 18-year-old.

A Must-Pick U-19 National Player

Stavitski is a regular prime roster player in the Finnish U-19 team, having played for them 11 times. Even though he favors the right winger positions, he had the opportunity to play along the touchline. His contract with Caen is valid until Summer 2022 and his current Transfermarkt price is ~500k Euros. NK Osijek is extremely thrilled to have him play in Gradski Vrt. Welcome, Timo! We wish you all the best!
