The Albanian national player joins his ex-Teammate in Glasgow.

Eros Grezda leaves Osijek’s ranks for the Scottish Rangers. The Albanian national player received the offer after Barisic left Osijek. Barisic surely had a lot of kind and persuasive words to say for Grezda.

Expressed Wish to Depart from Osijek

Following the match between Osijek and Belupo, rumors started circulating that Eros could leave Gradski Vrt, due to the fact that he missed out pretty much every training session this season. We know that he was injured for a long time and that the recovery lasted longer than expected. Turns out that he will never don Osijek’s jersey again, sadly. He expressed a wish to switch environments and has a right to compensation from NK Osijek. He signed a 4-year contract with the Rangers.

The third HNL player in Ibrox

Grezda played 1 season for NK Osijek, playing 37 times (26 in the HNL, 3 in the Croatia Cup and 8 in the Europa League). He scored 8 times (5/2/1) and confirmed his status as a standard player of Albania. The Rangers will prove to be a challenge in his career and we had to make peace with the fact that another great is leaving our club.
