IT’S ALWAYS NICE AND GOOD IN VELIKA

The citizens of Velika are always happy when NK Osijek comes over. Again, the hosts made NK Osijek feel at home during the mini-prep at their stadium. Everyone wants NK Osijek to have ideal training conditions when they are guests. Mayor Vlado Boban expressed his thoughts: “I can safely say that this is NK Osijek helping us out. Sports are an aspect of improving the economy and tourism of a particular location. You can see that things are moving in our parts of Slavonia in terms of the stadium and training facility. I am proud of it, as are our citizens.”

Other Clubs are Welcome, Too

Boban added that NK Osijek is an excellent promoter of Velika in terms of sports tourism.

“The good word Osijek puts in for us is bringing us closer to our goals, especially considering that the Papuk National Park is here. We expect other clubs to come by, too, even from other countries. Osijek will play their second match here, and their opponents (from Bosnia-Herzegovina) are also welcome” He explained.
