The White-and-Blues will have numerous representatives in Croatia’s and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s youth national teams during September and October.
NK Osijek can once again boast a large number of national team players. As many as ten of our players have received call-ups for the upcoming international fixtures, while Šimun Mikolčić is on the preliminary list for the Croatian U21 national team.
We have the most representatives in the Croatian U21 national team. Luka Vrbančić, Domagoj Bukvić and Ivano Kolarik have been included in the coach’s squad for the qualifying matches against Hungary on September 26 in Varaždin, Ukraine on October 2 in Miskolc, and Lithuania on October 6 in Druskininkai.
Senad Mustafić has been called up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team for the qualifying away matches against Norway and the Netherlands in Stavanger and Doetinchem.
Luka Posavec will represent Croatia’s U18 national team in friendly matches against Qatar, Algeria, Denmark and Chile in Karlovac from September 26 to October 5.
Jona Ježić and David Kalem will play for Croatia’s U19 national team at a tournament in Sveti Martin na Muri, where they will face France, Italy and Turkey. The matches are scheduled for September 28, October 1 and October 4.
At the Istria Youth Cup in Medulin, Croatia’s U17 team will also be represented by three of our young players — Izak Ježić, Petar Tolić and Luka Kolar.
