Osijek was Losing against Rudes 0:2, But Turned the Tide and Won 3:2 in the End.
This championship game was quite interesting. The U19 played against Rudes this Saturday, having won 3:2, even though Rudes was in the lead 2:0 for the first 45 minutes. During this time, Osijek was struggling to find chances, the play was all over the place and full of mistakes, but in the continuation of the clash, the picture quickly changed in Osijek’s favor.
A Fantastic Second Half
Scores by Bosak, Susic and Seric have created a turnaround, where Osijek acquired valuable points.
It was a duel with two completely different half times. In the first one, we were unrecognizable and anemic to say the least, when suddenly, as if a completely different team made their appearance on the pitch. I spoke to the boys during the break and the favor was on our side. We created opportunities, their goalkeeper defending miraculously in some situations, but we were nevertheless able to turn it around. We scored thrice, being able to do so again, which makes me happy because the team showed us that they can pull themselves out of such dire situations when we have the disadvantage – said U19 coach Tomislav Radotic.
