Osijek's U19 is on a winning streak and celebrates their victory on the „Kajzerica“ with 2:1, landing on first place on the State Championship ladder.

The U19 of Osijek is playing exceptionally this season! On Saturday, they won their 4th consecutive game, that certainly being a valuable victory, having played against Lokomotiva in Zagreb. The end score was 2:1 for Igor Budisa’s students, the goal getters being Durdov and Sušić. It is known that the young “Lokosi” are playing the U19 Champion’s League, which means that Osijek’s triumph over them is that much more important, especially because the game was played in Lokomotiva’s home turf. Osijek’s roster at the Kajzerica was as follows: Stojanac (Krznarić), Magdić (Bliznac), Soldić (Mihovilović), Sabolović, Stanić, Šutalo, Durdov (Sušić), Bosak (K. Grgić), Šantalab & Prenkpalaj. Osijek is first on the ladder with 13 pts. and with no defeat, followed by Lokomotiva and Slaven Belupo, who are 3 pts behind Osijek.

Osijek’s U-15 Better than Hajduk’s

Osijek’s U-15 had a favorable showing, having beaten their peers in Hajduk at Gradski Vrt with a score of 2:0. The strikers were Novak and Conjar, and with this win, Vranjes’ chosen have affirmed themselves in the top-half of the ladder and are currently placed third with 19 pts. The top 2 teams are Dinamo and Istra respectively, with 2 points more than Osijek. Osijek’s U-17 weren’t able to beat Poljud’s team, so that Hajduk won with 4:0, even though that score could have been worse for Osijek, since Hajduk’s players had some missed opportunities. Split’s players are first on the ladder, followed by Dinamo and Rijeka, while Osijek’s finest are placed 4th in this category.
