Another successful week for Osijek’s younger divisions that are competing in the Premier and 2nd YQL of Slavonia and Baranja. U17 II defeated Hajduk Pakrac 4:0 (Cindrić, Lišnić, Vuica and an own goal by the opposing team) and the U17 II won 3:0 against the same team (Avdejev 2 & Tretinjak).
The U13 was away team in Belisce, where they played equally-named Belisce and won 19:0 (Antoljak, Damjanović i Pavličić 3 each, Mažar, Trbojević & Vrbanac 2 each, Čolić, Ivančan, Matković and an own goal).
The U9 was home team against their Djakovo peers, having won 13:1 (Sabo 4, Janjić & Ljubojević 3 each, D. Kurtović, N. Kurtović & Miličić). Djakovo was beaten by the U11 II team 7:1 (Božić 3, Bertić 2, Gagulić & Mrkonjić), the same team celebrating after beating BSK in Bijelo Brdo 10:0 (Bertić, Bogojević & Kolarik 2 each, Barić, Božić, Grgić & Majdenić).
Successful Continuation of the Pilot League
U15 II played against BSK in Bizovac in the 2nd YQL, winning 9:0 (Konig & Živković 2 each, Jeremijaš, Kovačević, Novak, Slišković & Sopić). Drazen Vidovic’s students played a friendly mach against Mladost in Vodjinci, where they won 9:2 (Živković 3, Lukadinović 2, Đurković, Konig, Kovač & Sopić). The students of coach Daniel Bogdan participated in a competitive tournament in Tuzla where they placed 6th. In their group, they tied with Sarajevo 1:1 (Baric), won against Bratstvo 11:1 (Grgić 3, Barić, Dević & Tomić po 2, Begović & Rupčić), tied with Partizan 1:1 (Baric) and defeated Cibalija 2:0 (Baric and Grgic).
In the match up that was decisive, Osijek’s players lost against Vojvodina 2:3 (Baric 2). First place was secured by Belgrade’s Red Star. In the Pilot League, U13 played in Pozega, where they bested Marsonia 1:0 (Pavlicic) and Hypo 4:0 (Damjanović, Matković, Mažar & Pavličić).
