Osijek’s U19 racks up wins, defeating their foes at Kajzerica with 2-1, placing 1st on the ladder.

This season belongs to Osijek’s U19. On Saturday, Osijek was victorious for the 4th consecutive time, celebrating sweet victory in Zagreb against state champion Lokomotiva 2-1. For Igor Budisa’s disciples, Durdov and Susic were the strikers. It is known that the young “Lokos” play the U19 Champion’s League, making Osijek’s win therefore extremely important, especially because it was won on the enemy’s grounds. Osijek’s lineup was: Barešić, Stojanac (Krznarić), Magdić (Bliznac), Soldić (Mihovilović), Sabolović, Stanić, Šutalo, Durdov (Sušić), Bosak (K. Grgić), Šantalab & Prenkpalaj. Osijek’s U19 occupies now the first place on the ladder with 13 pts. and no losses, followed by Lokomotiva and Slaven Belupo with 3 pts. behind.

U15 better than Hajduk’s

Osijek’s U15 bested Hajduk at Gradski Vrt 2-0. The strikers were Novak and Conjar, bringing glory to Vranjes and consolidating their place at the upper echelon (3rd place) with 19 pts. The top 2 teams are Dinamo and Istra with a 2-point advantage over Osijek.

The U17 couldn’t quite stand up to Hajduk’s, so that they lost 4:0 at Poljud, even though the home team had it’s missed opportunities. The team from Split is first place, followed by Dinamo and Rijeka, while Osijek holds 4th place in this age group.
