The U19 team tied as away team at Slaven Belupo’s Turf, while the U17 and U15 bested Zagreb without suffering successful shots themselves.
It was a stellar weekend for our younger categories in the Nationals! The U19 team was away team in Koprivnica where they played 1-1 against Belupo. The deciding score ws made by Sušić, with the home team equalizing immediately after his score, 20 minutes prior to the end. In 9 finished series’, Osijek won 5 times, tied 3 times and lost only once, occupying the third spot as of now with 18pts.
The U15 bested Zagreb at home with 2-0, Conjar and T. Kuprešak as the scorers, placing Osijek on the 4th spot with 23 points. Convincing were also the U17 players, who outclassed thei Kranjčević peers with 8-0. M. Kuprešak celebrated his quadruple score, while Vinogradac struck twice and Kuzminski & Stojčević each scored one goal.
U13 Celebrate 29:0!
In the Premier Youth League, the second U17 team played a tie against Grafičar (Cimerman); while at Podgrađe, the second U15 team lost 1-2 (Ledinski). The U10 beat the same team’s peers 12-2 (Sabo 3, Kovač 2, Kurtović 2, Posavec 2, Janjić, Ljubojević and Mihaljević), while the U11 convincingly beat Grafičar 16-0 (Gagulić 5, Bertić, Ižaković, Korman and Matić 2 each, Benaković, Pejić and Perković).
The highest score count was achieved by the U13 against Olimpija with an astounding 29 scores to nil! (Ivančan 10, Damjanović 7, Mažar & Pavličić 3, Matković 2, Barišić, Barić, Petrović & Trbojević). Against Osijek’s Lower City, the U11 won 9-0 (Vučemilović 3, Rupčić 2, Barić, Grgić, Kovačević & Majdenić). Preparatory matches gainst Sombor were played by the U11 and U13 teams. The U11 won 4-1(Grgić 2, Barić & Majdenić), while the U13 won 5-0 (Đurković, Konig, MacDonald, Sopić & Živković).
