In All Championship and Friendly Matches, Osijek’s Teams Were Quite Successful.
Osijek’s younger divisions played and won 12 matches during the last weekend. Just as it was visible in the announcement, there was no duel between the U15, 17 and U19 teams in the Croatian National League, so the attention was set on the Premier QYL of Slavonia and Baranja, where the U17 II bested Slavia 4:0 (Lišnić, Marodi, Mendeš & Vinogradac), while the Pleternica players lost at Gradski Vrt to Osijek’s U15 II 5:0 (Avdejev, Dorić, Korov, Mikolčić & Verhas).
The same outcome was present in the match between Osijek U13 and Croatia (Pavličić 3, Trbojević & Vrbanac). The same generation triumphed over Valpovka’s away team, having won 19:0 (Petrović 5, Pavličić & Vrbanac 3, Damjanović & Matković 2, Čolić, Džeko, Mažar & Trbojević).
Two Victories in Novi Sad
One more game was played in the Sports Park of Valpovo. Osijek U11 has defeated the “Greens” 13:0 (Kovačević & Rupčić 3, Majdenić & Vučemilović 2, Barić, Grgić & Jerković). The Valpovians were beaten by Osijek’s U9, who were the away team, with a score of 15:0 (Tomašević 4, Kovač, Ljubojević & Sabo 2, Janjić, N. Kurtović, D. Kurtović, Marković & Mihaljević).
Osijek and Valpovka played in the U10 division, where Osijek won 12:0 (Gagulić 4, Ižaković 2, Betlehem, Bertić, Kralj, Korman, Matić & Pejić).
The U11 was the away team at Vojvodina, having won 3:0 (Baric 2, Grgic), while the U13 II team won in Novi Sad 8:1 (Perić & Živković 2, Konig, Martić, MacDonald & Mlinarević).
The U19 put up a fight against Cibalia in Vinkovci and won 1:0 (M. Kupresak). To close off the report, the U10 defeated Sparta of Beli Manastir 10:2 (Ižaković 4, Mikić 2, Bertić, Gagulić, Jaman & Korman).
